William B. Lees, Director
Director
Dr. Lees has been director of the Florida Public Archaeology Network since August 2005. He holds the M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from Michigan State University, is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, and has research interests in historical archaeology. He has been actively involved in public archaelogy since the 1980s. He is a member of the Florida Archaeological Council, Florida Anthropological Society, and Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. He serves on the Board of Directors and as Newsletter Editor of the Society for Historical Archaeology.

Cheryl A. Phelps

Cheryl is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She worked 8 years in New Orleans in marketing before returning to Pensacola in 1989 to work at UWF.
