Jacksonville (3) |

As a transportation and economic hub during the late Antebellum Period, Jacksonville was a very important, active, and contested place during the Civil War, and changed hands repeatedly. After the Civil War, Jacksonville prospered and its historic cemeteries hold several plots for both Confederate and Union veterans. These complement other elements of its rich Civil War heritage which can be found in other sections of Destination: Civil War.
