Bradfordville

1927

In loving memory of Robert E. Lee

Highway 319, near Bradfordville

This monument was placed and dedicated along Highway 319, north of Tallahassee near Bradfordville, in 1927.   It was erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy "and friends." In 1966, it was moved to a new location across from Maclay Gardens State Park, about five miles south of its original location. During the widening of this highway in the late 1990's, it was removed and and placed in strorage at Maclay Gardens State Park, after which it was relocated to a turn off from the south-bound lane of this now-divided highway.
