To the Memory of the Confederate Soldiers who Defended Jacksonville
Yellow Bluff Fort Historic State Park
Yellow Bluff Fort was constructed in 1862 as part of the Confederate defenses of Jacksonville, but was soon captured by the United States. It is now preserved as Yellow Bluff Historic State Park.
In 1950 the United Daughters of the Confederacy erected a monument on this site dedicated to the memory of the Confederate defenders of Jacksonville during the Civil War.
