Olustee Battlefield Historic State Park

State Historic Site Visitor Center

U.S. Highway 90 south of I-10

The Florida Park Service maintains a modest visitor center at the site of the 1864 Battle of Olustee or Ocean Pond.  This visitor center is located near impressive monuments erected to memoralize the battle and its Confederate participants in the early 20th century, and which led to this becoming Florida's first state historic site.  The visitor center is the best place to start a tour of the battlefield, which also includes trails through the site of the fighting with informative waysides.

Open daily between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Admission to the park and visitor center is free.
