Florida Manatee FestivalTime: 9:00 am til 4:00 pm Location: Crystal River, Florida Description: The two-day event features over 50 exhibitors, 150 vendors will be on hand. Artwork, photography, sculptures, crafts and jewelry are among some of the items on display and for sale. A wide variety of wonderful food and alcohol will be available. The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
