Museum of Geneva History New Exhibit

Time: 2:00 pm til 4:00 pm

Location: Museum of Geneva History

Description: A new exhibit of Children\'s Carriages (on loan from Mr. Bill Nygren) is now at the Museum of Geneva History. We have assembled eight examples of children’s carriages manufactured between 1850 and 1910 which reveal a richness of materials and an appreciation for graceful lines and careful workmanship. Just as the automobile confers a certain status on its owner in our society, carriages did the same for the generations that preceded the auto. There is also a display of handmade toys. The Museum is open from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and is located next door to the Community Center on 1st Street. Admission is free. Check out Geneva\'s interesting history on our website:
