Florida State History Fair Public ViewingTime: 3:00 pm til 5:00 pm Location: Tallahassee Community College Description: The theme for this year's State History Fair is "Revolution, Reaction and Reform in History". The State History Fair brings more than 800 middle and high school students to Tallahassee to compete in the state finals. The students compete in five categories, historical papers, exhibits, performances, documentaries, and websites. Winners go to National History Day in College Park, Maryland, in June. Public viewing from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on April 30 at the Tallahassee Community College campus. Related link: Click Here! The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
