Munree Cemetery Project Part IITime: 8:30 am til 4:30 pm Location: Munree Cemetery, Edenfield Road, Tallahassee Description: Starting early in the morning FPAN, SEAC and Munree Cemetery Foundation, Inc. will be conducting a ground penetrating radar survey of the historic Munree Cemetery. Volunteers will be also conducting maintenance of burial plots, including monument cleaning. Demonstrations of proper monument cleaning and information about how to properly maintain and protect historic cemeteries will be available. Archaeologists will be on hand to answer questions and the public is welcome to stop by and visit. FPAN is co-hosting this event. |

The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
