"Native Plants, Native People" LectureTime: 6:30 pm til 7:30 pm Location: Hatch Park Community Center: 403 SE Craven St Branford, FL 32008 Description: Barbara Hines, RPA will be speaking to the Sparkleberry Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. She will touch on the various native plants found in the region and how they were used by early native people and settlers to the area. The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
