Archaeology Lab Volunteer DayTime: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502 Description: The FPAN Archaeology Lab is open to volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers help rough sort artifacts recovered from local archaeological sites. The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
