Volunteer in Nortwest Florida

The FPAN Archaeology Lab is open Wednesdays and Fridays 9:30 am-3:30 pm. Volunteers wash, sort, and classify artifacts recovered from local excavations. No experience is necessary and all are welcome. Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.

The Pensacola Archaeological Society, along with FPAN and UWF's Archaeology Institute are offering opportunities for high school students to earn community service hours that count toward scholarship and school requirements. Additional volunteer opportunities are available for both field and lab work in association with the University of West Florida's summer terrestrial and maritime field schools.
