Archaeological Stewardship Workshop

Time: 10:00 am til 3:30 pm

Location: Reed Hall 153, FGCU

Description: Morning session (10a-noon): What are archaeological resources? Why should we care? What does the law say about protecting sites? What can we do to protect sites? How does the Florida Master Site File fit into the conversation?

Afternoon session (1:30-3:30p): This hands-on opportunity will involve protecting a nearby site by moving some sand and dirt. By reservation of participants of the morning session only.
