Historic Walking Tour of Palmetto

Time: 10:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: The Palmetto Historical Park 515 10th Ave. W., Palmetto

Description: The Palmetto Historical Park and Manatee County Agricultural Museum are hosting a walking tour of historic Palmetto on Wednesday, April 4th, 10:00 am. The tour leaves from the historical park at 515 10th Ave. W., Palmetto. This walk, approximately 2 hours long, will highlight some of the historic buildings in downtown and along the riverfront in Palmetto. It includes a tour of the Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast, which was a Sears and Roebuck house, built by town founder's son, J.A. Lamb. Wear comfortable shoes! The tour is free but reservations are needed as space is limited. Call 721-2034.
