Teacher Appreciation Day at the Henry B. Plant MuseumTime: 10:00 am til 5:00 pm Location: Henry B. Plant Museum, 401 W. Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33606 Description: We invite Tampa Bay teachers on Saturday, August 11th, from 10am – 5 pm, to visit the Henry B. Plant Museum as we salute them . Admission is FREE for teachers and their families with their school ID. Teachers can explore the Museum at their leisure, learn about exciting Field Trip opportunities in 2012-2013, and enjoy our in-depth, self-guided audio tour. They may also view the award-winning, 14-minute historical video on “Florida’s First Magic Kingdom” and investigate our new exhibit Japan and the Victorians. The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
