Weedon History HikeTime: 9:00 am til 10:30 am Location: Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center, 1800 Weedon Drive NE, St. Pete Description: Learn of early native peoples of Weedon Island and the colorful past of the 1920s. Hike past remnants of the Grand Central Airport and on the History Trail. Be sure to bring water and a snack. A hat and closed-toe shoes are also recommended. Related link: Click Here! Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
